Help Name Jubilee Horses

For the first time ever, the Household Cavalry are asking the public to help name their new horses.

Over 30 horses are coming to the end of their training for The Queen's Diamond Jubilee and are starting to think of names for them - but now YOU could name one yourself.

Major Simon Deverell said:

"The soldiers have always taken a great interest in naming the horses, but given our place in the jubilee celebrations, we thought it was only right for the public to have a say, too."

Each new set of horses are given a letter, similar to how car registration works, and this time the letter is "M". The most popular names so far include Majestic, Mountbatten, Monarchy, Merlin and Monty.

Two names are already set; Magpie, in memory of Trooper James Munday, nicknamed Magpie, who was killed in Afganistan, and Musa Qaleh - the town in north Helmand that was captured and held by the regiment.

A massive congratulations to the one and only Adele, who won an incredible six Grammy Awards last night.

The music industry's version of the Oscars saw Adele pick up the awards for:

The collosal win, which sees Adele tie with Beyonce for most awards won in a single ceremony, was too much for her when accepting the highly-desired Album of the Year award at the end of the night, delivering an emotional speech while attempting not to cry.

But Adele wasn't the only Brit to take a Grammy. The late Amy Winehouse was awarded Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her duet with Tony Bennett on the song Body and Soul, and Corinne Bailey Rae won Best R&B Performance for Is This Love.

News has just broken that the legendary singer Whitney Houston has died, aged 48.

Details of her death are yet to emerge, but her publicist has confirmed the news. Stars are now taking to Twitter to pay their respects to the incredibly talented woman.

Piers Morgan: "Stunned by Whitney Houston's death at just 48 - one of the greatest voices I've ever heard."

Naya Rivera: "Oh my gosh. I'm speechless. R.I.P. Whitney Houston."

Boy George: "Whitney Houston is dead, OMG, I'm so heartbroken. You were amazing and I hope you found peace! x"

Jedward's Eurovision 2012 Song!

Well now the song they intend to perform (if they are chosen again) has been released.

Amy's Coroner Suspended!

We previously reported how Amy Winehouse's coroner, Suzanne Greenaway, was discovered to be unqualified to carry out the autopsy, only getting the job because her husband Dr Andrew Scott Reid had given it to her.

It has not been revealed that Dr Reid has been suspended following an investigation by the Ministry of Justice into how Greenaway was even given the role when she had only completed two-and-a-half years of the required five years.

Reid could face disciplinary action, lose his job and/or a jail sentence for his breach of the strict guidelines.

A spokesperson for the Judicial Complaints Office said: "Dr Reid has been suspended pending an investigation. We cannot comment further."

I hope the idiot doesn't get away with this.

Naomi Watts Lands Princess Di Role!

English-Australian actress Naomi Watts has landed the highly-desired role as Diana, Princess of Wales in the upcoming biopic Caught In Flight.

The film will focus on the last two years of Diana's life, including her failed marriage with Prince Charles, her humanitarian work and her tragic death.

Naomi landed the role when the original actress to play Diana, American actress Jessica Chastain, pulled out of the project for unknown reasons.

Biopics about British Royalty have become huge successes in Hollywood, such as Helen Mirren's portrayal as Queen Elizabeth II, to Keira Knightley's role as Georgina, Duchess of Devonshire in The Duchess, to Colin Firth's portrayal of King George VI in The King's Speech, so it was unsurprising that Hollywood would soon do a film about Diana.

But Naomi will have stiff competition when playing Princess Diana as a second movie about her life is in production; an adaption of Closely Guarded Secret - the autobiography of Ken Wharfe, the princess's bodyguard. Charlize Theron, Kiera Knightley, Carey Mulligan and Scarlett Johansson are all reported to be pursuing the role.

Catherine's First Solo Engagement

Catherine, The Duchess of Cambridge embarked on her first solo engagement tonight at the National Portrait Gallery in London.

Her Royal Highness attended a private viewing of the late Lucian Freud's exhibition at the NPG, her first solo engagement since marrying Prince William and becoming a member of the Royal Family.

The press were out in force to capture the moment, including fashion journalists who were eager to see what she would wear to the occasion. Catherine wore a gorgeous grey tweed coat dress by little-known High Street retailer Jesire, which costs around £150 and will no doubt be sold out by tomorrow.

Meeting her at the exhibition was Sir Paul McCartney's photographer daughter Mary McCartney and Freud's daughter Bella Freud, among others.

Although she stepped in for Prince Charles at a fundraising dinner last year, this engagement was her first official solo event without The Duke of Cambridge, who is currently ~~stranded~~ serving in the Falkland Islands.

Theresa May: "Get Qatada Out!"

The Home Secretary Theresa May isn't the most popular woman in politics, but all of that could change if her latest aim is successful.

Theresa has said she wants Abu Qatada aka "Osama Bin Laden's right-hand man in Europe" out of the country and deported to Jordan, where he is wanted for terrorism charges, before the Olympics in July.

The nation were in shock on Monday when it emerged that Qatada was to be released from prison after a British immigration judge had ruled his continued inprisonment was not justified after the European Court of ~~Deluded Liberal-Extremist Twats~~ Human Rights ruled for him to be released on bail.

Supported by various MPs, Theresa said:

"It simply isn't acceptable that after guarentees from the Jordanians about his treatment, after British courts have found that he is dangerous, after his removal has been approved by the highest courts in our land, we still cannot deport dangerous foreign nationals.

We continue to consider the case for British bill of rights, and the Prime Minister is leading the government's attempts to reform the European Court of Human Rights.

The right place for a terrorist is in a prison cell. The right place for a foreign terrorist is in a foreign prison cell far away from Britain. That's why we will do everything we can, within the existing legal regime, to deport Qatada, and we're doing everything we can to reform that regime to avoid these cases in future."

Harry Redknapp NOT Guilty!

Tottenham Hotspurs boss Harry Redknapp has been found not guilty of taking tax-free bungs.

Jurors sided with Harry, who strongly denied that he avoided paying tax on payments over £189,000 found in a Monaco bank account.

The 64-year-old said after the verdict: "It's been a nightmare. It's been five years and this is a case that should never have been in court."

We're equally glad this trial is over with, it was so lame.

Miss England Enjoys Mauritius Trip

Miss England 2011 enjoyed a trip to Mauritius last week as part of a sponsorship deal to help promote Mauritius to potential British tourists.

Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority and the Ministry of Tourism and Leisure sponsored the week-long tour from 28th January to the 4th Febraury. During her time, Alize Lily Mounter experienced scuba diving, snorkeling, golf, a walk with wild cats, sky diving and a private yacht.

Aliza won the title of Miss England when she beat 62 other girls to the crown, as well as winning the Miss UK title for getting the highest score out of the four girls representing each UK nation. Folowing her win, she went on to represent England in the Miss World 2011 pageant where she placed in the Top 7 (with Jennifer Reoch, Miss Scotland) and was named Continent Queen of Beauty for Europe.

It's alright for some!

Ben Richards Battling Cancer!

Ben Richards, star of The Bill and Footballers' Wives, is sadly fighting cancer.

The 39-year-old tweeted on the 20th January:

"After getting scariest news yesterday, I have to now postpone my LA adventure for at least six months. I was born a fighter and will fight this."

The tweet didn't mention anything specific, but he has since tweeted:

"So, am supposed to be heading off to LA today, instead I'm meeting my Oncologist to discuss my course of Chemo and Radiotherapy. Yep, time...

...to battle the big C. Prognosis is good gang and should kick this into touch in about 6 months, well this should be a different journey xx"

Ben, we wish you all the luck with your treatment and hope you kick the hell out of the Big C.

Amazing NYC Busker Sings Adele!

A busker in New York City's 86th Street Station was filmed singing Adele's hit 'Someone Like You' and blew away the passersby.

The video was recorded on a mobile phone and uploaded to YouTube 5 days ago and has already gained 8,800 hits. The video describing the man as "homeless" but there is no evidence to suggest he wasn't simply a busker.

Never the less, his voice is brilliant and will no doubt become a big YouTube hit.

She held back tears as she made the announcement but couldn't contain it once it was out in the open.

60 Years Of Being Our Queen

Lily Collins Dating Zac Efron?

Upcoming actress Lily Collins has been spotted on a second outing with Zac Efron, sparking rumours the pair are dating.

Lily, who is the daughter of Phil Collins, is playing Snow White in the film adaption of the Grimm brothers' tale Mirror Mirror: The Untold Adventures of Snow White, which is due out later this year.

The pair reportedly had dinner together at a steak house in L.A before sneaking out the back door where Zac got into a chauffeur-driven SUV that was closely followed by a car with Lily inside.

Amy Winehouse's Coroner "Not Qualified"!

Mitch Winehouse has spoken about the controversial revelation that Amy Winehouse's coroner was not properly qualified.

It was revealed that Assistant Deputy Coroner Susanne Greenaway, who carried out Amy's post-mortem inquest, was given the position by her husband Dr Andrew Reid, who is the Inner North London Coroner.

Coroners can only be appointed once they have been a Law Society solicitor for five years. Shockingly, Ms Greenaway had only done two-and-a-half years, meaning the 30 inquests she presided in, including Amy's, could be declared illegal.

Now Amy's father Mitch has spoken about the shock of hearing the revelation, telling The Sun:

"We were very shocked when we were informed the coroner was not suitably qualified. It's hard to believe her credentials weren't fully checked. You'd assume this sort of thing can't happen.

We've been informed the coroner was taking guidance from more experienced professionals and the verdict doesn't appear to be in any doubt, but it's upsetting to have to go through all this again. We just hope the matter can be resolved soon."

What's that I see? Oh, a prison cell with Ms Greenaway's name on it? Sounds reasonable.

Prince William Lands In Falkland Islands

Prince William has touched down in the Falkland Islands to start his six-week deployment in the remote islands.

After a 18-hour flight, Prince William landed around 5:20am UK time - but Argentina are not happy about it!

The heir to the throne's deployment comes just before the 30th anniversary of the Falklands War between Britain and Argentina, which began on 2nd April 1982.

Prince William will miss his first Valentine's Day with wife Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, but that's the least of his worries following the raging Argentinians who have dubbed him "William the Conqueror" because of our decision to deploy him there.

It seems Argentina still think the Falkland Islands, which they call Las Malvinas, belongs to them.

Well it doesn't, so shut the hell up!

Desperate Famewhores Axed After Just One Series?

The latest dramality show Desperate ~~Scousewives~~ Famewhores is reportedly facing the chop after just one series.

The cringe-worthy show, set in Liverpool, was expected to challenge The Only Way Is Essex and Made In Chelsea, but failed to entertain viewers.

The embarrassingly staged scenes and lines, mixed with desperate attempts to create catchphrases and trends similar to TOWIE, saw audiences switching off.

One viewer wrote on a forum: "I think the TOWIE lot deserve an Oscar after watching Desperate Scousewives."

Another wrote: "TOWIE was embarrassing to watch at first, but you learned to love them for who they are. Made In Chelsea was the opposite of TOWIE, and we loved them for their class. Then came along Desperate Scousewives, where they're all clearly desperate to be just as famous as the TOWIE cast. With their crap attempt at making the "Scousebrow" the new "Vajazzle" and "Boss" the new "Reem", you can see their tiny brains working over-time to be as dramatic as possible for the cameras. Get them off your channel E4 before they ruin your reputation!"

While show bosses have said no decision has been made about the future of Desperate Famewhores, the cast have proved just how desperate they are by posting pictures of Twitter begging fans for support.

KP: "It's Not Me That's Obsessed!"

Peeface Andre has milked the public and press for more sympathy as he does yet another interview criticising ex-wife Katie Price.

And you people wonder why I don't like him? Tell me, if we took out the interviews where he's talking about his children or Katie, what else are we left with? Nothing. Exactly.

Peeface did another KP-slating interview with Heat magazine, saying:

"I think there is some sort of obsession with me, or us, and I just want to move on.

She may want me back, she did 100 per cent ask me to get back with her romantically. She wanted us to spend Christmas and New Year together but I won't ever go there."

But KP has issued a statement slamming Pete's latest interview, saying on her website:

"Pete's Heat interview was so full of spite that it is saddening. Was I devastated when Pete left me? Yes. Did I react badly to it? Yes. Am I over this - yes and I have been for some time. I don't want to be with him and I know he does not want to be with me.

Is it true that for a while we were getting on better and that (like many couples who have a history) there were discussions about what could have been and what might be if we got back together.

These conversations were, I thought, just between us where we both knew that the comments were light hearted "what ifs" and not serious. I had no idea they would be used against me like this.

Of course I sometimes think we should be together for the sake of the children, but I know that cannot and will not be the case. Nor is that what I want - I am not sure how many times I have to say this.

Pete made clear in his New! column at the start of January that there was no hope of us going back together and I had said the same from a statement from my management. He has repeated this line in an interview with OK! [magazine]. Now he has spoken about it again in Heat, yet apparently it is me that is obsessed?

I am sure this will be used as an excuse for another round of interviews by Pete calling me all sorts of names and making all kinds of accusations. I will attempt to stay quiet and leave my lawyers to deal with the matters that have been uncovered."

Andrea McLean Suffers Panic Attack Just Before Live Show

Loose Women achor Andrea McLean suffered a panic attack on Friday just before she was about to go live on the lunchtime talk show.

It's been a rough week for Andrea as it emerged her second marriage had crumbled and suffered post-natal depression following the birth of her second child, Amy.

Thankfully This Morning presenter Ruth Langsford, whose studio is close to the Loose Women studio, rushed onto the set to take Andrea's place.

Andrea, who has suffered panic attacks ever since a crazed fan pushed her down an escalator ten years ago, is said to have collapsed on the floor and began "crying uncontrollably".

Colin Tarrant Commits Suicide

Long-serving star of The Bill, Colin Tarrant, has sadly died after a suspected suicide.

59-year-old Colin was found in the bathroom of his Bristol home before being rushed to Bristol Royal Infirmary where doctors desperately tried to save him, but were unsuccessful.

Details about how Colin died have not been revealed, but are believed to be the result of a suicide.

He played Inspector Andrew Monroe in The Bill for twelve years before leaving the show.

Colleagues and friends are said to be in shock at his sudden death, with unnamed friend telling The People:

Two Bombs Hit Northern Ireland!!

Northern Ireland has been hit by two bombs, both in the city of Londonderry!

One was detonated at a tourism office and another outside a benefits office, both shortly after 8pm tonight (19th).

Dissident republicans (those who do not support the Northern Ireland peace agreement and hate that N.I is part of the United Kingdom) have been responsible for a series of bombs in the city. Though it not confirmed they are responsible for these two attacks, it is highly likely.

Catherine Gets Joan Collins' Seal Of Approval

Usually people are trying for Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge's seal of approval, but this time the table has turned is it's Catherine recieving the seal of approval. But let's face it, everyone needs to be approved by Joan Collins'!

The legend said she's a big fan of Catherine's, but not of her title, saying she thinks we should all call her "Princess Catherine" instead of the Duchess of Cambridge.

She said:

"I very much like Catherine. What do we call her now? The Duchess of Cambridge sounds so old! Can't we just call her Princess Catherine as they do in America?

She has not put a foot wrong. She even looks like a princess. I think Prince William has done a great job and taught her what to expect. She is flawless in everything, her clothes, her smile, her attitude."

Hugo Taylor In Skiing Accident!

Made In Chelsea's Hugo Taylor has been hospitalised after being in a skiing accident.

Hugo was in Switzerland when it happened, resulting in a fractured shoulder, bad bruising and a black eye.

He thanked Swiss medical staff for their work as a picture emerged of him in hospital with his arm in a sling and tubes connected to him.

Hugo has now been discharged from hospital and is drinking his pain away at a bar.

I've had so many messages that have helped me. I don't think I could have got up on stage without that.

And it seems he has started early with his latest comment, slamming celebs who thank God in acceptance speeches.

The atheist said:

"Let's get this into perspective; They're the wealthiest, most priveleged people in the world. Imagine if I had gone out there and said, 'We're all in the same gang. Aren't we brilliant. Us millionaires together".

It was a swipe at all those people who thank God because they won an award. How arrogant is that? There's war and famine and God's going, '[You] know what Bullock? Write a speech. I'm not going to say anything, Sandra, but write a speech.' That's all I'm saying."

Fergie Going To Turkish Jail??

Uh oh. Sarah, Duchess of York has sparked controversy again, and now faces up to 22 years in a Turkish prison!!

Turkish authorities announced on Thursday they were charging Fergie with breaching the privacy of five orphans after filming a TV documentary about orphans in the country and filmed them without their permission.

What? Get a life!

The documentary, shot in 2008, saw Fergie disguise herself as she entered the orphanage that hold over 700 disabled Turkish orphans, where cameras allegedly caught scenes of children being tied to beds and left in cots all day.

Oooh, so that's why you're doing it then Turkey, because you've been caught out!

Turkish authorities reportedly asked UK authorities to cooperate in charging the Duchess, but they refused to do so.

2012 BRIT Award, WTF Is That?!

2012 is not a good year for Britain's symbols. We've got the absolutely vile 2012 Olympics logo (that resembles Lisa Simpson performing a sex act), and now the new 2012 BRIT Award has been revealed... and it isn't pretty.

Last year saw the highest award in British music get a glamourous makeover thanks to fashion designer/legend Vivienne Westwood, but instead of keeping the stylish new look they chose pop artist Sir Peter Blake to create another new look for 2012 - and it's hideous!

The new statue looks like it's been coloured in with felt-tip pens and has big letters spelling "BRIT" down the front, as if the artists didn't already know what award they'd won.

Go back to the 2011 award, always still with Vivienne Westwood!

Former Emmerdale beauty Roxanne Pallett, who played Jo Sugden, was the victim of a shocking attack that say three thugs set their Staffordshire Bull Terrier on her! (Why do pikeys always have Staffies?)

While on a train journey to Manchester Piccadilly, three ~~twats~~ thugs recognised her and started hurling abuse at her until one took it a step further by setting their vicious dog on her, yelling "Get her!"

Another then lefted up the snarling pet, shoving it in her face as she screamed. Thankfully Roxanne was able to grab the emergency communication cord just as it pulled into a Shrewsbury Station in Shropshire, alerting train staff to the carriage but not in time to catch the little pricks, who jumped off the train and ran away.

A friend explained:

"They started out by calling her by her Emmerdale name and their abuse got nastier and nastier.

They started saying she must think she's better than everyone else because she chose to ignore them. She was petrified and thought the dog was going to rip her to pieces."

Roxanne, who was alone in the carriage, continued her journey where British Transport Police were waiting to take her statement. Last night police were trying to track down the dickheads.

Osborne: "Scotland Will Be Worse If Out Of UK"

Chancellor George Osborne has said Scotland will be in a worse situation if they choose to become an independent nation by leaving the United Kingdom.

The Scottish National Party, who are currently head of the Scottish Parliament, are campaigning strongly to separate Scotland from the U.K, an arguement that has split the country's opinions.

But talking to ITV News, George said:

"I think the people of Scotland would lose out in terms of the Scottish economy. I don't think Scotland would be as prosperous as it would be as part of the UK.

If you look at the scale of the national debt, for example, that Scotland would have to take if it became independent, if you look at the fact it has an important banking industry as we know and you ask yourself 'would Scotland alone have been able to bail out the Royal Bank of Scotland or Halifax of Scotland."

Some politicians in Scotland have criticised his comments, while others agree entirely.

One Scottish reader of ChristopherCouture.co.uk said:

"There is a lot of rivalry between Scotland and England, and I think the fact it's been brought into politics is a sign it has gone too far.

Many Scottish people have joked for countless years that Scotland should leave the UK and be their own nation, but realistically I don't think it's a wise decision at all. We cannot ignore that many statistics for the UK are brought down by Scotland, such as the levels of teenage pregnancies, unemployment and alcoholism. That isn't to say those things wouldn't a problem for the UK any more if Scotland were to leave, but what I am saying is that we, Scotland, would have a difficult time dealing with those issues without the financial support of the rest of the UK.

In the future, independence could be very beneficial for Scotland, but in the current economic situation it seems like a very careless move motivated by a party who are simply trying to cut ties with England over a centuries-old rivalry."

Harry & Maria Quit TOWIE!!

Harry Derbidge and Maria Fowler have become the latest stars to leave The Only Way Is Essex!

Amy Childs was the first person to leave the show when she clearly got too big for it and decided to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house. Then Mark Wright quit to go in the I'm A Celebrity jungle, closely followed by Kirk Norcross who did an Amy and entered the Celeb BB house (and is currently in there), and now Maria and Harry have said goodbye to TOWIE as well.

Amy's cousin Harry was a background cast member until his "OMG! Shu'up!" became the catchphrase of the show and catapulted him into the spotlight, and who can forget Maria's rise to acknowledgement when Kirk famously told her "Shut up you! You're just a f**king extra!" during an arguement.

But their faces will not be gracing Season Four of TOWIE, and according to rumours they won't be the only ones as Sam Faiers and Lauren Pope are also expected to be given the boot to make way for new people.

Who is left? Lauren Goodger? Ha. Good luck.

Tasmin Khan Axed From Daybreak

Daybreak news reader Tasmin Khan has become the latest person to be sacked from the morning TV programme after Christine Bleakley and Adrian ~~Chiles~~ NeverSmiles were both fired before Christmas.

The failed GMTV replacement has been dropping presenters like flies in a desperate attempt to save the show, and apparently they felt sacking Tasmin was a good move.

A source told The Mirror:

"Her contract was up for renewal but she was part of the old show which struggled, so she had to go."

A bit harsh. I bet I can tell you why Daybreak has failed - because it's on for two hours but seems to use the same fifteen minutes of features over and over again.

But it doesn't seem too bad for Tasmin, who has reportedly been offered loads of work in the USA.

Alesha Dixon has QUIT being a judge on Strictly Come Dancing after sensationally switching over from BBC to ITV to join the Britain's Got Talent panel!

Just hours after quitting the BBC1 dancing show, the following statement was released on Alesha's website:

"Alesha has decided not to return to Strictly Come Dancing after a successful three-series run and will instead be joining the Britain's Got Talent panel, alongside Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and David Walliams."

Ooooh, how controversial!

A BBC spokesperson said:

"We wish her all the best. She has done three very successful series with us and we look forward to announcing our new lineup in due course."

It's payback from ITV after BBC poached their favourite presenter Holly Willoughby, who is the co-host of upcoming BBC show The Voice.

K-Jen & Gethin End Engagement!

I'm very sorry to hear that the fabulous Katherine Jenkins and presenter Gethin Jones have called off their engagement.

K-Jen is said to be heartbroken after they called off the engagement, apparently due to hectic work schedules.

K-Jen tweeted:

"Sorry for being quiet of late, its just that I have some very sad news... Geth & I have decided to go our separate ways. We are both beyond broken hearted... All your hugs & support will be much appreciated xxx."

They have reportedly spent hours on the phone to each other to discuss the split so that they can part on peaceful terms.

It'll be an even tougher time for K-Jen as she starts her Daydream tour in Oxford next week and will therefore have very little time to ~~do a Carrie Bradshaw~~ curl up in bed with a box of chocolates and cry like there is no tomorrow.

90-year-old Prince Philip was bed-bound in Papworth Hospital for four days over Christmas, missing Christmas Day and his much-loved Boxing Day hunt.

But finally he got to go home to the Royal Family, who were all awaiting his return. All of HM The Queen's descendants, and their spouses, are currently at Sandringham, joined by Lady Sarah Chatto and Viscount Linley, The Queen's only neice and nephew.

Looking well, Prince Philip was seen waving to well-wishers who had waited outside the hospital to greet him as he left.

Glad you're alright Your Royal Highness, we wish you a very speedy recovery.

Fox Hunting To Become Legal Again?

One this day seven years ago, riders would mount their horses and unleash their dogs in preparation for the traditional Fox Hunt that occurred on Boxing Day.

But in 2004, Fox Hunting was finally made illegal after decades of debate and countless campaigns.

Now, less than a decade since it's highly-supported ban, there are talks of repealing the ban and allowing fox hunting to be made legal again.

Earlier today, over 250,000 people turned out across Britain to support their local hunt, which attempts to keep to the tradition without the killing of foxes. This new figure is a record high - a record that has grown stronger each year, leading many to ask whether the repeal of the ban is a good idea.

This new-found support by many will be a concern for animal rights groups such as PETA and RSPCA who have campaigned tirelessly to highlight the actions involved, but will be a sigh of relief for farmers across Britain who say the foxes are killing their animals.

Agriculture Minister Jim Paice said yesterday that the Hunting Act 2004 "simply doesn't work" and made a "mockery" of the law, while Richard Benyon, a minister in the Department for Enviroment, Food and Rural Affairs said: "I believe hunting has been bad for the countryside and bad for wildlife."

A MailOnline poll asking readers whether they believe the ban should be lifted or not has been split evenly, with 50% supporting the ban and 50% opposing it.

Arg was travelling with his manager from their hotel to Dundee Airport this morning after making a personal appearance at Dundee University's 'The Only Way Is XMAS' event last night when, at 5:30am, they were involved in a crash.

Details about the crash have not yet emerged, but both Arg and his manager were left shaken but unharmed.

According to reports, David Walliams and Dannii Minogue are set to join Amanda Holden on the Britain's Got Talent panel.

Michael McIntyre stepped down as the new judge after just one series and David Hasselhoff was taken off the panel, also after just one series.

Dannii hinted she'd been in talks to join BGT, which will be a UK TV comeback after she left The X Factor panel last series due to scheduling issues.

But a source has also told The Mirror that David could also be joining them, saying:

"Everybody is really excited about the new line-up. David was confirmed this week and the producers think it's the best yet.

He's a real favourite with the nation and Dannii is hugely popular. It's exciting for her to be coming back."

Meanwhile, The Mirror also reported that Britain's Got Talent 2010 winner, Diversity frontman and Got To Dance judge Ashley Banjo is in talks to be a stand-in judge for Amanda Holden while she is on maternity leave.

Mark-Francis Vandelli To Get His Own Show?

Made In Chelsea star Mark-Francis Vandelli has revealed he is in talks with Channel 4 to have his own TV show that focuses on fashion for men.

Talking to BANG Showbiz, he revealed:

"I think it's time for me to move away from Made In Chelsea now.I've actually been in talks with Channel 4 about the possibility of fronting my own men's fashion show.

I really do think there's a definite gap in the market when it comes to men's fashion and knowing how to dress, and I want to fill it. We'll just have to see what happens but it's very exciting and I do think they're very serious about it."

Catherine, William & Harry Become Olympic Ambassadors

Prince William, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry have become official ambassadors for next year's 2012 Olympic Games in London.

An insider told MailOnline:

"The royal family have always had a connection with the Olympic movement and this is just taking that one step further. All three are very excited about what next year will bring."

Their involvement rounds up the 2012 ambassadors to 30 after joining 27 Olympic veterans who are already 2012 ambassadors.

Prince William said the following for the Team GB Ambition Programme:

"Catherine, Harry and I are honoured to be ambassadors for Team GB and Paralympics GB.

We are hugely looking forward to this incredible sporting competition, but are also looking beyond next year's Games to the springboard it will provide for future success."

Charlotte Church Told "Sing At Murdoch's Wedding For Good Press"

Charlotte Church is the latest star to talk about the press intrusion she faced at the hands of News International and the problems that were caused from having her phone hacked.

Speaking at the Lord Leveson Inquiry on Monday 28, Charlotte claimed she had been offered "good press coverage" in return for singing at Rupert Murdoch's wedding in 1999.

She said that her manager had encouraged her to make the deal instead of charging a fee of £100,000 because it was early in her career and she needed the coverage from Murdoch-owned newspapers. However, News International strongly deny making the offer.

She went on to say how, at around the age of 14, the press became more intrusive and reporters and photographers began to follow her, even bribing people around her such as hotel and airline staff. She also claimed that, since the age of 16, she hasn't been on a single holiday without photographers and/or reporters following her.

During the trial, Charlotte also talked about the time The Sun posted a countdown clock on its website that counted down until she was 16 and legally able to have sex, explaining: "I was a 10-year-old girl and [I was] just really uncomfortable with it in general."

Charlotte also mentioned how, when attending events, she had to put up with photographers putting their cameras up her skirt and down her top to try and get an X-Rated picture of her for the papers the next day.

But it wasn't just Charlotte who was hurt by the hacking and intense media. When stories were published in the press that she'd intended to keep private, she accused friends of selling information and stories to the papers. However, she now understands these stories came to light because her phone was hacked and says she now feels guilty for ending friendships after accusing them of doing something they hadn't done.

Her parents were also targetted, with a News of the World headline entitled "Church's three in a bed cocaine shock", which alleged her father had had an affair. Charlotte explained the story was "just totally sensationalised" and caused a huge problem between her parents, with her mother even attempting suicide when she heard of the story so that she wouldn't have to face the humiliation.

Concluding her accounts, she said:

"I feel strangely strong because I've survived it all and I don't know how because at times it really messes with your mind.

In a way I think it's made me stronger but professionally because I've been made a caricature for so long and that really isn't me, the person I am or the way I live my life.

I think that has had a massive impact on my career. As an artist and a singer, I find it really hard to get taken seriously as my credibility has been blown to bits by this publicity."

X Factor Finale To Last Four Hours!

ITV have confirmed that The X Factor 2011 finale will last four hours, split over two nights.

Starting at 8pm on Saturday, December 10, the three remaining acts will sing live in front of 10,000 people at Wembley Arena - a first in X Factor history. Show bosses have said viewers should expect to see "some amazing international guest stars" joining them on stage. One act will then be sent home.

On Sunday, December 11, the show will be on for a further two hours from 7:30pm, where the two finalists will perform their winner's song, which is to be produced by Fazer from N-Dubz and will be the first original song since Shayne Ward in 2005. There will be more guest performances before the winner is finally announced.

Gary Speed Takes His Own Life! RIP

Yesterday Britain awoke to the shocking news that football star Gary Speed had taken his own life, aged just 42, and leaving behind a wife and two teenage sons.

Just the day before (Saturday 26), Gary had appeared on Football Focus and showed no signs of depression or negativity.

Gary, who was the Wales Football manager, was found hanging in his home. In a statement, Cheshire police said there were no suspicious circumstances.

British Woman Hurls Abuse At Non-British Commuters!

This shocking video has emerged on YouTube showing a white British woman (though from her language and vocabulary I'd struggle to realise she was English) hurling abuse at a carriage full of people, mostly non-white or non-British.

The woman, who is sat with her young son on her knee is seen shouting about "her Britain" is ruined after all "you blacks and browns on 'ere have come over" and telling them to "go back where you came from".

Eventually another white British woman tells her to shut up because she's waking up her child, shouting "I'm British, what are you going to say to me?"

As shocking as the video is, it has started a big debate between people who say the woman had no right to say those things and others who say the woman has a point.

Device Found Strapped Under KP's Car!!

An investigation has begun after a tracking device was found fitted to the undercarriage of Katie Price's Range Rover.

KP took her bright pink Range Rover to a London garage for a routine check but was soon alerted that a GPS device have been found fitted underneath, re-sparking concerns for her safety and the safety of her children.

In February this year, police informed KP that a gang who have targetted celebrities have her near the top of their hitlist, encouraging her to increase her security. The same gang held footballer Steven Gerrard, his wife Alex Curran and their children at knifepoint while robbing their home.

Talking about the recent discovery, KP said:

"The garage had my car on the ramp and spotted this tracker. The car was last serviced on August 16, so I know someone has been following me or snooping around my property and shoved it on between then and now.

Because I had a kidnap threat at the start of the year, it could be related.

Earlier this year the police got in touch and warned me to beef up security because of fears about kidnappings.

The police have now added this device to their ongoing investigation and I'm reviewing security again. I hope we're just being over-cautious."

"Whenever engagement and marriage was mentioned he was uncomfortable. He's still a young man and the thought and the thought of being tied down was a lot to digest."

I thought, right, they say 2000 calories a day is the norm for a woman, I'll aim for 1200 or 1500 a day and see how it goes."

The Biggest Loser's Angie Dowds Takes Her Own Life!

One of The Biggest Loser's personal trainers, Angie Dowds, has dead after apparently taking her own life.

42-year-old Angie, who has trained the contestants since 2005, jumped off the cliffs at Beachy Head in Eastbourne after a tough year.

In the last series of The Biggest Loser, Angie was temporarily removed from the show after she cheated against the other team by telling her contestants to eat just nuts and apples prior to their weigh-in - a strict breach of rules, which encourages contestants to find healthy ways to lose weight.

It was around this time that her engagement to long-term girlfriend Corrie Preece also came to an end.

The reasons for her decision to take her own life have not emerged, but I'm sad that such a strong woman felt she couldn't deal with issues in her life.

'Shooting Stars' Axed!

Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer's BBC2 comedy show Shooting Stars has been axed by The Beeb.

The show, which originated as a Christmas special in 1993 before going on to have five successful series until 1997 and was eventually brought back in 2009, has been cut from the BBC2 schedule because "there will be less space for comedy/entertainment" on BBC2.

Bob broke the news on Twitter by tweeting: "BBC have just cancelled shooting stars."

A BBC spokesperson said:

"In future there will be less space on BBC Two for comedy/entertainment panel shows so sadly Shooting Stars won't be returning.

We'd like to thank Vic and Bob for everything they've brought to the channel over the years."

7 Dead, 51 Hospitalised In M5 Pile-Up!

Britain awoke this morning to the sad scene of the M5, which saw the country's worst car pile-up recorded.

Thirty-four vehicles, including four lorries, slammed into each other at 8:25pm last night, creating a chain of explosions and a huge fireball.

Seven people have been confirmed dead, with fifty-one others being rushed to hospital with a variety of injuries including burns, broken bones, loss of blood, breathing difficulties and internal bleeding, but authorities have said that the death toll could rise following beliefs that not all bodies have been discovered in the collosal wreck.

The smash happened on the M5 just outside Taunton, Somerset, where it is believed thick fog made driving extremely difficult for drivers and was the main cause for the huge accident.
